The Partial Tutoring Program

   The Partial Tutoring Program is exactly like our other very successful program except that you, the parent, will do the vast majority of the work.  We have now helped over 750 student via the partial method.  All of our other programs have waiting lists into 2005.  The Partial program has a brief waiting list currently of 5 - 15 days mainly because it is new. We are having the same great success rate with the partial program as we have with the other programs.
   How does it work?  After we receive your payment we will contact you to set up a date and time that we can call and give your child a reading assessment over the phone.  This usually takes about 30 minutes.  We will send you a file attached to an email that you will need to print. This is usually 3 - 6 pages.  These pages are what we will use to do the assessment. We do not want you to let your child see the materials until we ask you to on the day of the assessment.
   Once the assessment is complete, we will customize our program to make it fit your child.  We will mail the program kit to you.  With that customized program will also come the following: a 12 minute video tape of the founder of the program demonstrating how it works, an audio tape of one of our teachers who will actually teach your child the first five lessons, Dr. Furr's book about the program, Dr. Furr's other book about math (which you may or may not need or use), a complete set of readers for one grade level, and our small instructional manual.
   After you read the brief instructions that come with the kit, you will simply play the tape which will teach the first five lessons.  You will need to pay close attention to this tape as your child does the work.  All of our lessons are based on this five lesson sequence.   The only thing that changes is the book you are reading from. You will take over from lesson six. You will also be asked to keep us informed, every other week or so, of how it is going and if your child is missing words.  Based on your reports, we will further customize the lessons as we go.  You are encouraged to contact us via email with questions as often as they arise.  We will also make suggestions concerning your child's schooling if you wish.  If you want help with IEP's etc., we are glad to do this at additional charge.
        From there it is just a matter of time...before your child is back on track.  You will be the one that gets them there.  You must do the lessons six days a week, 15 - 25 minutes each day...no matter what,  and we mean no matter what.  If you cannot do that, don't begin our program because you will just add to your child's list of failures.  You decide, is it worth it? We will stick with you until your child is reading on grade level.  Your only additional cost will be the reading books which cost from 30 - 55 dollars depending on grade level.
   We guarantee that if you follow our directions you will see some progress on the first lesson. If you don't see real significant progress at the end of 30 days, we will be glad to refund your money when you return our kit in usable condition.  No one yet has asked for a refund, no one!
