You are looking at what caused Neuro-Learning Systems to be created. This is a picture of the brain at work. As President Bush (George W.'s father) declared, the 90's were the decade of the brain. The decade of brain research would be a more accurate description. The 90's saw a splurge in what we have learned about the working of the brain. Granted, we have only scratched the surface, but we are on our way to some of the most significant learning in all of history.

The founder of Neuro-Learning Systems was interested in how the latest findings from brain research could be applied to education. After spending many years as a teacher he knew that there were many mysteries surrounding learning, motivation, and memory. He contacted some of the most well known scientists and educators to ask how he might apply brain research findings to help his students. All told him the same thing. They stated that although they had made tremendous progress in understanding brain principles, no one had really written the "do this and then do that." One scientist challenged the founder by saying, "You have a doctorate, you know how to do research, you figure it out." And he did just that.

Using his two young sons as research subjects, he developed the "do this and then do that." He discovered a way to teach reading that was faster and easier than anything currently offered. He also discovered that these principles seemed to apply to everyone, young and old, disabled or not. Neuro-Learning Systems has grown from those initial discoveries. In four years we have taught over four thousand people to be better readers. We also learned that this systems works better with older children (over 6) and also with adults.  Students from 37 states and 8 foreign countries, who had never been able to read, are now reading on grade level! And we did it in record time, advancing most students a grade level for every 15 hours of instruction.
